Empowering Students in Scientific Research
Research Girl is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to providing free resources for students to engage in scientific research. We offer a wide range of tools and support, including poster templates, step-by-step guides, and advice from career professionals, to help students at every stage of their research journey.
Mission
There is a distinct lack of free resources for STEM and pre-med students who are interested in scientific research, especially for low-income students. Our mission is to empower and support these students by offering comprehensive information about how to conduct research from start to finish. We are committed to bridging the gap and ensuring that all aspiring scientists have access to the tools and knowledge they need to succeed.
Vision
Our vision is to create a future where all students have the opportunity to engage in hands-on scientific research and make meaningful contributions to the scientific community. We strive to build a world where every student can pursue their curiosity and develop valuable skills through research experiences.
Values
We are dedicated to providing accessible resources and removing barriers that hinder students from participating in research opportunities. Research should be accessible to all!
Providing support to underserved populations is our number one priority. We believe that scientists of color, women in STEM, and first generation/low income scientists should be given the same resources as their more privileged peers.
We prioritize diversity and aim to create a supportive community where students from all walks of life can thrive and contribute to scientific discovery.
Integrity, collaboration, and innovation are central to our values, and we are committed to upholding these principles in all aspects of our work.
