About

Rawan Abdelrahman has always been passionate about the sciences, particularly biology. From an early age, she found herself fascinated by the complexity and beauty of living organisms. Whether it was exploring the forests near her home to observe insects and plants or eagerly diving into books about human anatomy and physiology, Rawan's curiosity about the natural world grew continuously. Her enthusiasm for biology truly took shape when she decided to pursue a biology major in college, driven by her desire to understand life at the molecular and cellular levels.

During her undergraduate studies, Rawan sought to combine her academic interests with practical experience in the healthcare field. She is currently working as a medical assistant at a pediatric clinic, where she engages directly with patients, learning firsthand about the intricacies of patient care and the importance of compassionate medical practice. This experience has deepened her love for the healthcare environment, where every day brings new opportunities to learn and contribute. Rawan is also in the process of obtaining her EMT license, driven by her commitment to emergency medical services and providing immediate care in critical situations. The hands-on experience she gains through this training complements her studies and work at the clinic, allowing her to develop a broader perspective on patient care and emergency response.

Rawan deeply resonates with the mission of Research Girl and is excited to bring her insights and experience in biology and healthcare to the platform. She looks forward to offering guidance, advice, and resources to motivated and curious students eager to explore the dynamic and rewarding field of healthcare.
